Your Responsibilities 

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to support in managing TfC’s accounting operations. His/Her responsibilities include preparation of financial statements and reports, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with auditing preparation and taxes declaration, and performing other accounting duties as assigned. This position will be also working closely with the company’s Management and the external auditor and a Consulting and Business Advisory firm.

  • Financial Management: Administer all accounting operations, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and budgetary controls.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to Egyptian Accounting Standards, IFRS, and GAAP, and manage all tax reporting requirements efficiently.
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness in wage calculations and tax contributions.
  • Operational Excellence: Initiate improvements to accounting systems and processes, contributing to the overall efficiency and integrity of financial management at TfC.

Role Requirements

We are seeking a self-starter with a BSc/Ba in accounting, finance, or a relevant field, proficient in QuickBooks Online, and has a strong understanding of Egyptian Accounting Standards, IFRS, and GAAP. Fluency in English, with Arabic being a strong advantage, is required.
 
  • Educational Background: A University degree (BSc/Ba) in accounting, finance, or a relevant field.
  • Experience: Proven expertise in accounting, with proficiency in QuickBooks Online and a solid understanding of Egyptian Accounting Standards, IFRS, and GAAP.
  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; fluency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
  • Characteristics: A motivated self-starter who thrives in ambitious, international, and fast-changing environments.
