Finance and Operations Manager (f/m)

Transport for Cairo (TfC) is seeking an experienced (7+ years) Finance and Operations Manager to lead our financial strategy and operational excellence. Your Responsibilities 

The Finance and Operations Manager to will lead our financial and operational strategies, ensuring alignment with ISO standards and supervising the Accounting & Administrative Officer. The role involves comprehensive management across financial planning, operations, human resources, compliance, and document control in a day-to-day independent leadership capacity. Reporting to the company Director, S/he will be responsible for:

  • Strategic Financial Management: Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring accurate financial statements are produced timely.
  • Operational Excellence & Portfolio Management: Manage operational processes to enhance team effectiveness and ensure timely project delivery across the portfolio, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Human Resource Management: Implement HR policies, oversee recruitment and training, and manage workforce allocation and performance evaluation.
  • Compliance and Legal: Ensure adherence to tax, legal, and regulatory requirements, conduct risk assessments, and manage contract operations.
  • Document Control and Record Keeping: Establish and maintain an ISO 9001 compliant documentation system, ensuring secure record storage and easy access for audits.


Role Requirements

We are seeking experienced Finance and Operations Manager with.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications like CPA, CFA, or PMP are preferred.
  • Experience: At least 7-10 years in finance, operations, and HR management, with 3-5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, problem-solving, analytical, and research skills. Ability to manage a team, complex projects and multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge: In-depth experience with financial management, operational excellence, HR management, and compliance. Strong understanding of Egyptian legal and tax frameworks, and ISO standards implementation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in financial software like QuickBooks Online, MS Office suite, SharePoint, and business analytics tools. Familiarity with project management and timekeeping software is a plus.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; fluency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
