As part of the strategic and financial cooperation between AFD, AMUGA and CODATU, this assignment strengthened AMUGA’s in-house capacity to process and valorise urban transport survey data in Greater Abidjan. Transport for Cairo designed and delivered a capacity-building programme covering the full workflow from raw survey data to usable mobility datasets and passenger information outputs. AMUGA staff were trained through a combination of virtual and in-person sessions on transport network data processing and mapping, building local ownership of the methods and tools needed to maintain the data over time.
