In partnership with Loughborough University and the Climate Compatible Growth (CCG) programme, this project focused on Kenya, Ghana, Zambia and Malawi with the resources needed to quantify and report transport-sector emissions, while building a knowledge repository to support pathways toward clean and equitable mobility. Transport for Cairo conducted a comprehensive review of the transport-data landscape in the four countries and substantially expanded the data available through the Transport Data Starter Kit (TDSK) and custom tools developed during the assignment, identifying sustainable data pipelines and collating data and metadata from national and international sources to feed the Transport Data Commons Initiative’s data portal.
