Urban Mobility Lab
We do
Our Urban Mobility Lab (UML) is TfC’s research arm. The lab’s work covers all modes of mobility, including rail and metro, BRT, bus services, popular transport, private modes, micro-mobility and active travel.
The lab doesn’t work solely on research projects, but also excels in implementation projects and on-ground capacity building for government institutions.
Our team is composed of trained and experienced researchers from diverse backgrounds, all sharing a strong commitment to improving people’s mobility.

TfC partners with universities and research and policy centers to produce publications, datasets, training programs and novel research concepts that utilize data science.
Meet The UML Team!
