Joining Knowledge forces for Sustainable Transport policies in Africa: The “Sustainable transport organisations in Africa” report highlights the capacities of sustainable transport organisations in Africa including their organisational size, areas of research, level of funding, business models, successes, and challenges. It provided an in-depth perspective of the capabilities of these institutions. The resulting output is envisaged to be captured in an online web database. The report will serve as kick-off for a organisations networking event. The launch of the report and the data-base is intended to lay the foundations for the formation of a permanent network of organisations.
