The study examines the viability of paratransit electrification as a policy option to effectively tackle public health, climate change and equity challenges in three African cities: Cairo, Nairobi and Cape Town. TfC drafted the Egypt component of the comparative review, including a review of the energy, transport and finance sectors; SWOT analysis of electrification and developing policy recommendations therefor.
