Hazem Fahmi

Senior Research Software Engineer

Wearing two hats, Data and Tech. Hazem's tech role is leading the RouteLab team's efforts to deliver features as well as managing our RL product. Hazem maintains our Tech infrastructure on the cloud, integrates true Dev Ops into TfC's tech stack, and still manages to get directly involved with product development and maintenance.

Ibrahim Mohamed

Frontend Developer

Ibrahim combines Cartography and Map Design with Web UI development to create beautiful applications for our users. His expertise in GIS also enables him to optimize the numerous data features embedded across our software stack.

One example is TfC’s “Lens”, a user-friendly interface built on a custom machine learning model to identify and count boda-bodas using traffic surveillance footage in Kampala, Uganda.
